The Woodstock Navy Vets are pleased to continue the organization’s “Welcome to Anchortown” series with the signing of forward Cole Worsfold-Bonneville for the 2026-27 season.
Cole joins the Navy Vets after spending last season with the Waterloo Wolves U18 AAA program. The local forward brings a combination of work ethic, compete level, and offensive ability that makes him an exciting addition to the Navy Vets roster.
Last season, Worsfold-Bonneville recorded 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points in 75 games with the Wolves, demonstrating his ability to contribute offensively while playing a hard, responsible game all over the ice.
“We’re really excited to have Cole joining our program,” said Darren Young, General Manager of the Woodstock Navy Vets. “He’s a player who competes everywhere on the ice and makes life difficult for the opposition. He works extremely hard, has the ability to contribute offensively, and plays the type of complete game that we really value. Having another talented local player join our group makes it even more exciting.”
Worsfold-Bonneville’s impact goes beyond his offensive production. His willingness to compete for pucks, pressure opponents, and work at both ends of the rink makes him a difficult player to play against. Combined with his offensive upside, he brings a well-rounded game that should translate well to the junior level.
For the Navy Vets, adding another player who calls Woodstock home is an exciting opportunity to continue building a roster with strong connections to the community.
