The Woodstock Navy Vets are pleased to continue the organization’s “Welcome to Anchortown” series with the return of forward Kyle Arthur for the 2026-27 season.
Unlike many of the players being introduced throughout the series, Arthur is already a familiar face to Navy Vets fans. The 2007-born center suited up for Woodstock during the club’s final PJHL season and quickly established himself as a valuable contributor both on and off the ice.
Known for his relentless work ethic, two-way play, and high skill level, Arthur consistently impacted the game in all situations throughout the season. While his regular season numbers of 5 goals and 13 assists in 40 games were solid, it was in the playoffs where he truly elevated his game.
Arthur emerged as one of Woodstock’s most dangerous offensive players during the postseason, recording 11 goals and 6 assists in 17 playoff games. His ability to rise to the occasion in big moments played a key role in the Navy Vets’ playoff run and showcased the offensive upside he brings to the lineup.
“Kyle is a player we’re very excited to have back,” said Darren Young, General Manager of the Woodstock Navy Vets. “He did an excellent job for us last season and embodies many of the qualities we’re looking for as we continue building our program. He’s an incredibly hard-working player, he competes at a high level, and he’s someone who can contribute in every area of the game.”
Arthur’s combination of skill, hockey sense, and commitment to playing a complete 200-foot game makes him an important piece of the Navy Vets roster moving forward. Having already experienced the culture and expectations within the organization, he will bring valuable experience and familiarity to the group heading into the upcoming season.
The Woodstock Navy Vets would like to officially welcome Kyle back to Anchortown and look forward to seeing him continue his development in a Navy Vets uniform.
